Dášeňka

Čapko's fairy tale about a little white nothing in an original cabaret outfit

In our theatrical adaptation of one of the most important Czech writers, Dášeňka is not raised by the dog's mother Iris, but by a whole trio of mothers. I mean... they're not actually mothers, but three gentlemen, passionate skittles players, who are just getting ready for a tournament, when suddenly, where she got married, she got married, a box appeared outside the door, and in it was a small, white nothing. Instead of a tournament, our three friends are faced with a much more challenging task: to raise a small puppy into a smart and decent lady dog. He discovers that having a canine friend is a great joy, but an even bigger worry and that a dog needs a lot of care, patience, and especially love. The Three Men and a Puppy cabaret is about to begin!
